Stylo is looking for a Sales & Receivable Accounting Specialist to manage sales recording, revenue accounting, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and related financial reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Recording & Revenue Accounting
- Record sales transactions accurately and on time in the financial system.
- Verify sales data and supporting documents before recording transactions.
- Ensure revenue recognition follows company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate sales records and supporting schedules.
Accounts Receivable Management
- Maintain customer ledgers and monitor outstanding receivables.
- Record collections and make necessary adjustments to customer accounts.
- Perform customer reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with relevant teams regarding overdue receivables and outstanding issues.
Reconciliation & Financial Controls
- Regularly reconcile sales, collections, and receivable balances.
- Ensure receivable records are complete and accurate.
- Help prevent duplicate, incorrect, or unsupported entries.
- Support month-end closing through timely sales and receivable reconciliation.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial reporting.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to resolve accounting issues.
- Assist in preparing sales reports, receivable ageing reports, and management reports.
- Support analysis of sales trends, collection performance, and outstanding receivables.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACCA or CA (Part-Qualified) candidates will be preferred.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes.
- Knowledge of reconciliation and receivable accounting.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of sales accounting and financial controls.
Behavioural Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Good documentation and organizational abilities.
- Ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in:
- Accounts Receivable
- Sales Accounting
- Revenue Accounting
- Finance & Accounting roles
