Job Summary

The Relationship Officer SME will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) clients, identifying business opportunities, promoting banking products, achieving sales targets, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement approved sales and service plans to achieve business growth objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with SME customers.
• Promote and sell bank products according to approved SOPs.
• Achieve assigned sales and business targets ethically and professionally.
• Identify prospective customers and evaluate business opportunities.
• Assess customer profiles using the Five Cs of Credit.
• Explain product terms and conditions to customers.
• Conduct physical verification of prospective clients.
• Ensure timely loan repayments and proactive collection activities.
• Handle customers’ legal documents securely and responsibly.
• Follow approved procedures when collecting repayments from the field.
• Prepare weekly field activity plans in consultation with the line manager.
• Conduct customer meetings according to product requirements.
• Process loan bookings in accordance with bank policies, procedures, ethics, and standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services.
• Address customer needs and maintain high service standards.
• Develop and sustain long-term customer relationships.
• Report suspected fraud or potential losses to the relevant manager.
• Ensure compliance with bank SOPs and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.
• Follow internal controls to safeguard the bank against financial, operational, and market risks.
