Position Details

Position / Job Title:
Relationship Manager – Small & Medium Recovery (North / South) (OG-II / OG-I)

Reporting To:
Wing Head – Small & Medium Recovery (North / South)

Educational / Professional Qualification

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college or institute recognized by HEC Pakistan.
• Candidates holding a Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certification(s) will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of banking experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in managing and/or dealing with Recovery Portfolio.

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required

• Sound knowledge of Retail, SME and Agri-financing.
• Good understanding of SBP Prudential Regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide input in formulating strategies for recovery targets assigned by the Competent Authority.
• Manage recovery of various loans, including SME, Commercial, Agriculture, Non-Program-Based products and Islamic financing.
• Conduct meetings with Branch Managers, Wing Heads of SME Portfolio and Regional Managers regarding defaulters and litigation matters.
• Review portfolios and coordinate with customers for loan recovery while maintaining annual recovery sheets and MIS.
• Coordinate and follow up with borrowers for timely payment of monthly/quarterly installments.
• Conduct meetings with defaulters, Legal Division and External Agencies, in coordination with the Wing Head, to resolve issues related to recovery of NPL accounts.
• Discuss monthly performance and outstanding recoveries with the respective Wing Head.
• Ensure achievement of recovery targets set by management and compliance with SBP Prudential Regulations, Recovery Policy and Credit Policy Manual during settlement and restructuring of accounts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable banking laws, regulations, instructions and procedures.
• Negotiate potential settlements with defaulters in coordination with the Wing Head.
• Participate in monthly meetings with the Wing Head and coordinate with Regional Managers for smooth functioning of SAMG.
• Follow up with branches regarding charge-off matters.
• Maintain all files, documentation and comprehensive records related to daily operations.
• Ensure all internal and external audit requirements and observations are addressed and implement measures to minimize recurrence.
• Ensure all processes are completed within the specified TAT.
• Ensure all SOPs are followed in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Provide support and advice to the GM for smooth branch operations and achievement of regional business and customer service objectives.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Competent Authority from time to time.

Employment Type

The employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, which may be renewed at the discretion of Management.
