Job Description

The organization is seeking an experienced Lead - Design Projects to lead the design and execution of new stores, renovation, fit-out, and expansion projects. The role involves coordinating design, construction, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams while ensuring projects meet approved quality, budget, and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of new stores, renovations, and expansion projects.
• Develop store layouts, space plans, drawings, BOQs, and design concepts.
• Review and approve architectural, interior, MEP, and signage requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress, quality, safety, and timelines.
• Ensure projects are completed within approved budgets and schedules.
• Maintain standardized store design guidelines and brand requirements.
• Support site evaluation and technical feasibility assessments for new locations.
• Manage project documentation, approvals, variations, and progress reports.
• Resolve site and design issues in coordination with Operations, Engineering, VM, and Commercial teams.

Job Requirements

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certification will be an advantage.

Experience:

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in retail store design, architecture, fit-outs, construction, renovation, or expansion projects.
• Experience with supermarkets, fashion retail, or large-format stores will be preferred.
