Job Description
- Teach English using innovative and student-centered teaching strategies while modelling effective professional teaching practices.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop course outlines, schemes of work, lesson plans, and classroom materials.
- Participate in professional development activities, including observing colleagues' lessons and providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to administrative responsibilities and participate in faculty committees, academic support activities, and general faculty meetings.
- Support professional outreach activities, including conferences, professional events, guest speaker sessions, consultation projects, and educational review panels.
- Conduct scholarly research in teacher and school education and contribute to academic publications, conferences, and workshops.
- Serve on campus-wide committees and provide guidance to student organizations.
- Supervise and mentor students during teaching practice, including school-based lesson observations and feedback.
- Participate in institutional events such as conferences, commencement ceremonies, and other activities during the working week.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in an M.Phil. in Education, TESOL, or Applied Linguistics.
- Strong interest in teaching, teacher education, professional development, and academic research is expected.
- Candidates should be willing to participate in academic, administrative, research, and outreach activities.
