Job Overview

Unilever is hiring an Assistant Manager Manex for its Foods Factory in Pernawan, Lahore. The role focuses on Manufacturing Excellence, World Class Manufacturing (WCM), continuous improvement, Kaizen, focused improvement, performance governance, and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will help drive improvement initiatives across the sourcing unit while providing training, coaching, and mentoring on WCM and continuous improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Focused Improvement (FI), Kaizen, and Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) initiatives.

• Train, coach, and mentor leaders, managers, and operators on WCM and problem-solving methodologies.

• Facilitate root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.

• Identify, implement, and replicate best practices across the site.

• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for site performance governance and KPIs.

• Lead productivity, efficiency, and cost-saving improvement initiatives.

• Drive and sustain the site's Daily Management System (DMS).

• Support strategic roadmaps, transformation projects, and business initiatives.

• Work with cross-functional teams to identify performance losses and improvement opportunities.

• Provide performance insights and recommendations to site leadership.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Postgraduate-level education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

• Experienced WCM Practitioner with the ability to teach, coach, and mentor teams.

• Experience in manufacturing, preferably within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company.

• Experience working as part of a project management team.

• Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, coaching, and continuous improvement skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
