Job Summary

The organization is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Officer – Supply Chain to manage end-to-end procurement and supply chain operations. The role involves coordinating with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and services, cost-effective purchasing, and compliance with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement cycle from requisition review to purchase order issuance and delivery follow-up.
• Review purchase requisitions, verify specifications and budgets, and issue purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices, favorable payment terms, and reliable delivery timelines.
• Obtain and analyze quotations, prepare comparative statements, and recommend best-value suppliers.
• Develop and maintain a strong vendor base and conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations.
• Track order status and follow up on deliveries while resolving delays, shortages, and quality-related issues.
• Coordinate with user departments, warehouse, finance, and quality teams for smooth receipt, inspection, and payment processing.
• Monitor inventory levels and support stock optimization to prevent stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval matrices, and audit requirements.
