🎓 Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

💼 Experience

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in healthcare procurement.
• Experience in biomedical and laboratory categories across multiple/remote locations.

📝 Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of biomedical equipment, laboratory instruments, reagents, diagnostic kits, consumables, spare parts, and related services.
• Coordinate with Bio-Medical, Pathology, Radiology, and other departments to understand technical requirements.
• Source and evaluate qualified local and international vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service-level agreements.
• Evaluate quotations, technical bids, and comparative statements and process purchase orders through ERP/procurement systems.
• Coordinate with logistics, warehousing, and biomedical engineering teams for timely delivery, installation, and commissioning.
• Manage warranties, service contracts, preventive maintenance, AMC/CMC agreements, and related documentation.
• Maintain vendor profiles, contracts, certificates, and regulatory compliance documentation, including CE, ISO, FDA, and DRAP/import requirements.
• Support CAPEX and OPEX procurement planning for biomedical and diagnostic categories.
• Conduct market research on new products, vendors, and pricing trends.
• Ensure compliance with institutional, donor, and regulatory procurement policies.
• Participate in vendor evaluations and procurement audits.
