Job Description

SVG is looking for a Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment across its store premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security and loss prevention procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor store premises to prevent theft, fraud, and suspicious activities.

• Conduct regular floor patrols and monitor CCTV surveillance where applicable.

• Ensure compliance with loss prevention policies and procedures.

• Check bags, goods movement, and staff/customer activities when required.

• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches.

• Maintain daily reports of incidents and security observations.

• Coordinate with store management and the security team.

• Assist customers while ensuring all security protocols are followed.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Minimum Matric

• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience
