National Foods Limited is looking for an Assistant Manager – Product Development (Food Services) to develop and improve institutional and food-service products according to customer preferences, market trends, food safety regulations, and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new food products and improve existing food-service product ranges.
• Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
• Create and refine recipes and formulations while considering taste, texture, nutrition, shelf life, and cost.
• Ensure product development complies with food safety, labeling, nutrition, and allergen regulations.
• Optimize ingredient costs without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with Quality Control for product safety and consistency.
• Conduct sensory evaluations, product trials, and customer feedback sessions.
• Manage product development from concept through testing and commercial launch.
• Work with Manufacturing to scale products from laboratory trials to commercial production.
• Coordinate with Procurement to evaluate ingredient and raw-material suppliers.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing on sustainable sourcing and production practices.
• Maintain product formulations, specifications, quality procedures, and compliance records.
• Identify opportunities to improve product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Support Sales and Culinary Experience teams with product demonstrations and menu applications.
• Keep up with emerging technologies, industry trends, and HORECA/food-service best practices.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline with 4–6 years of experience.
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline with 2–3 years of experience.
