Job Description

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Relationship Officer SME for its Gulistan-e-Johar Branch in Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with small and medium-sized business clients, promoting banking and loan products, achieving sales targets, and ensuring compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement approved sales and service plans to achieve business growth targets.

• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new business opportunities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with SME customers.

• Promote and sell banking products and loan facilities according to established procedures.

• Achieve assigned sales targets while maintaining ethical business practices.

• Identify prospective customers and assess their creditworthiness using the Five Cs of Credit.

• Explain product features, terms, and conditions to customers.

• Conduct physical verification of prospective clients.

• Ensure timely loan repayments and follow up with customers to support effective loan recovery.

• Handle customer and legal documents carefully to prevent misuse.

• Follow the bank’s cash-handling and loan collection procedures.

• Prepare weekly field activity plans in consultation with the line manager.

• Conduct customer meetings according to the relevant product guidelines.

• Process loan applications in compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures.

• Maintain high customer service standards and address customer concerns effectively.

• Monitor customer feedback and recommend improvements in products and services.

• Report suspected fraud and potential financial losses to the relevant management.

• Ensure compliance with bank policies, internal controls, and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.

• Protect the bank’s reputation by following ethical standards and risk management procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution.

• MBA qualification will be preferred.

• Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience.

• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.

• Ability to achieve sales targets and identify business opportunities.

• Knowledge of SME banking, loan products, credit assessment, and customer service will be beneficial.

• Commitment to ethical practices and compliance with banking policies.
