Job Description

Octans Digital is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x. The ideal candidate should have strong technical development skills and functional knowledge, particularly in Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Financials.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, developing customized solutions, supporting Oracle EBS implementations, and ensuring seamless integration across financials, procurement, inventory, and order management modules.

Applicants should have practical experience in developing reports, interfaces, and workflows using BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, and Oracle APEX. Knowledge of web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and AJAX, along with integration technologies such as REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, and XML, is also required.

The role involves system configuration, database performance optimization, application security, troubleshooting, and collaboration with business users and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design effective Oracle EBS solutions.

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.

• Create, maintain, and optimize BI Publisher reports, Oracle Reports, and custom applications.

• Implement integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and database interfaces.

• Develop web applications, dashboards, interactive reports, and forms using Oracle APEX.

• Configure Oracle EBS modules, flexfields, value sets, concurrent programs, request groups, and responsibilities.

• Troubleshoot and maintain RICEW components, including reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows, and APIs.

• Optimize SQL queries and perform database performance tuning.

• Collaborate with functional consultants, infrastructure teams, and vendors.

• Support requirement gathering, technical documentation, unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and production support.

• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve application issues promptly.

• Document technical solutions, system configurations, and business processes.

• Monitor Oracle EBS developments and integration technologies to improve system performance.

• Maintain application security and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
