Job Description

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a qualified and experienced Supervisor for its Fresh Dairy, Bakery & Café department. The selected candidate will oversee daily operations, product quality, stock availability, hygiene, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor product expiry dates and ensure expired products are handled appropriately.

• Keep shelf labels, rail cards, and signage updated.

• Ensure shelves are properly stocked and presentable.

• Maintain product availability and monitor stock levels.

• Process repacking entries in the GMS system on time.

• Perform weekly MAV through internal consumption for bakery production.

• Prepare stock orders and maintain the necessary documentation.

• Participate in weekly and annual inventory counts.

• Implement corrective and preventive measures to control wastage and stock shrinkage.

• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to resolve quality-related issues.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in bakery production areas and equipment.

• Continuously monitor negative stock positions.

• Conduct free product sampling to promote high-priced items.

• Recommend new bakery recipes to improve sales and meet customer needs.

• Monitor structural deficiencies and report issues when necessary.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Intermediate or equivalent qualification.

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

• Candidates should be capable of managing stock, maintaining hygiene standards, and supervising bakery and fresh food operations.
