Job Description

The Shelf Boy – Grocery will be responsible for arranging grocery products, maintaining shelves, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring proper product displays. The selected candidate will help maintain cleanliness, check product expiry dates, and assist customers when required.

Job Responsibilities

• Replenish grocery products on shelves according to store requirements.

• Arrange products properly and maintain attractive shelf displays.

• Check expiry dates and follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.

• Ensure accurate price tags and promotional labels.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves and the assigned department.

• Monitor stock levels and report low stock, damaged goods, or expired products.

• Assist customers in locating grocery items.

• Support stock receiving, counting, and arrangement activities.

• Follow store policies, safety guidelines, and hygiene standards.

• Perform other duties assigned by the department supervisor.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Matriculation qualification preferred.

• Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Previous experience in shelf stocking or retail operations will be an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of grocery products, stock handling, and inventory management is preferred.

• Must be physically fit to lift and handle stock.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and departmental procedures.
