Job Grade: SVP-I to EVP-I

Bank of Khyber is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Head General Services Division – O & S Group at its Head Office in Peshawar. The selected candidate will oversee general services, real estate, premises management, procurement, fixed assets, administrative support, and workplace safety while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy, Governance & Service Standards

• Develop and implement the division’s strategy, annual operating plans, budgets, and service priorities.

• Ensure alignment with the bank’s vision, business objectives, and operational requirements.

2. Real Estate, Premises & Infrastructure

• Manage the bank’s real estate portfolio, including site assessments, lease acquisitions, renewals, and rent negotiations.

• Maintain effective landlord relationships and ensure proper lease documentation and administration for branches, offices, and other facilities.

3. Procurement, Tendering & Vendor Management

• Ensure transparent, fair, and competitive procurement and tendering processes.

• Establish vendor verification, onboarding, performance evaluation, service monitoring, and risk management procedures.

4. Fixed Assets & Cost Management

• Ensure accurate recording, tagging, tracking, and custody of fixed assets.

• Conduct physical verification and reconciliation in coordination with Finance and relevant departments.

5. Health, Safety, Security & Business Continuity

- Ensure bank premises comply with occupational health and safety requirements, fire-safety standards, building codes, municipal laws, and applicable regulations.

6. Administrative & Corporate Support

• Establish effective service-request channels and clear responsibility structures.

• Ensure timely resolution of internal requests and complaints through defined escalation procedures.

7. Overall Accountability

• Ensure reliable, safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of the bank’s infrastructure, real estate, general services, and administrative operations.

• Maintain effective internal controls, measurable service standards, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and bank policies.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

• Minimum education: Graduation.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Administrative Sciences, Social Sciences, a related discipline, or an equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university will be preferred.

Experience:

Preference will be given to candidates meeting the following criteria:

• 15–20 years of total professional experience.

• At least 10 years of relevant banking experience.

• 5–7 years of experience as a Divisional Head or in a higher-level position within the same functional area.
