Zindagi Trust is hiring a School Counselor to support students’ emotional, social, and psychological well-being and help create a safe and supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group counseling, well-being check-ins, and age-appropriate sessions.

• Support students facing emotional, behavioral, family, peer, or academic challenges.

• Help students develop coping skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Maintain confidential records, manage referrals, and follow safeguarding procedures.

• Collaborate with teachers, school leadership, families, and the Safe School Officer.

• Participate in supervision and contribute to improving student well-being.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

• A Master’s degree is preferred.

• Experience working with children or adolescents is required or preferred; school experience is an advantage.

• Strong listening and communication skills.

• Fluency in Urdu and English.

• Training in child mental health or trauma-informed care is an advantage.
