📌 Position Overview:

Assistant Manager Legal – MMBL is responsible for managing litigation matters, ensuring legal compliance, and providing end-to-end legal support across departments. The role focuses on safeguarding organizational interests through strong legal drafting, advisory, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

⚖️ Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and respond to legal notices and other legal documents
• Provide legal opinions on HR-related matters including warnings, show-cause notices, and inquiries
• Coordinate with internal departments and external legal counsels for litigation support
• Participate in case strategy meetings and assist in legal decision-making processes
• Support branches in filing suits and monitoring ongoing legal cases
• Prepare written statements, para-wise comments, and court-related legal documents
• Analyze laws, regulations, and judicial decisions to ensure compliance and legal accuracy
• Draft undertakings, NOCs, bank guarantees, bonds, SOPs, policies, and legal correspondence
• Assist in securing Intellectual Property Rights including trademarks and copyrights
• Respond to legal queries from branches regarding customer-related legal claims

🎓 Eligibility Criteria:

• LLB or LLM degree from a recognized institution
• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience

⭐ Preferred Skills:

• Experience in microfinance banking (advantageous)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent presentation abilities
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
